“Studies comparing neighborhoods with and without neighborhood associates have found that those that are represented by an association have better-maintained infrastructure, and constituents who are more satisfied with the responsiveness of public agencies…. Neighborhood associations can help citizens participate effectively, leaving them feeling more empowered.

BALNA Hopelink Food Bank Day at Ballinger Village Thriftway

Start your holiday season off in a great way!  Join us in collecting food for Hopelink to help those who struggle to feed their families in these tough economic times.  The food bank lines are very long these days and the need is great.

All we need to do is pass out flyers to customers going in to shop with suggested items needed by the food bank, and collect the food on the way out.  How easy is that?!   And we'll also get a chance to meet more neighbors and tell them about Ballinger Neighborhood.  To volunteer, call 206-604-6822 or go to the Contact Us page and send us an email.
